Hi. I am a devoted Christian (by choice, not raised one) and I saw your website. Obviously, I do not agree with it, but I am not writing to bash you. Actually, I found your website very interesting and insightful. I think it actually strengthened my faith.
The only thing I will complain about was your questionaire. It declares certain responses off limits. This really contradicts your own logic as you say that later you cannot belive something you do not know. You do not know whether or not those responses are true or not, so it is unfair to declare them off limits.
I am pretty sure that anything that I have to say you've heard before, but I'll give it a go anyways. Keep in mind that the Bible is not necessarily a "How to Book". (contrary to popular Christian beliefs) it is really a collection of writings about other people's experiences with God. Naturaly, by Christian belief, those experiences will contradict as us Jesus-freaks believe that God has different purposes for all of us. As a Christian, I believe it is my job to read the Bible, read other people's experiences that I believe my God wants me to be exposed to, and then interpret for myself (not some pastor) what God wants me to be.
I suppose, what I really want to say, is that I believe 99% of the world's "Christians" misunderstand. I have no idea why I thought you'd care. Thanks for your time, only write back if you feel the need to. Keep up your search!
